Structural calculation of ducts based on ATV-DVWK-A 127
With IngSoft EasySchacht98 you perform structural calculations of circular manholes based on the work sheet ATV-DVWK-A 127. The software measures the shaft casing as a solid wall and profiled pipe made of any materials. You choose between five designs for the manhole's head and base respectively. In the manhole cover you complete openings and nozzles. The structural analysis program determines the reinforcement required for reinforced concrete cover plates and foundations. Since May 10, 2019 we deliver the 'Manhole' calculation module for IngSoft EasyPipe.
With the Manhole/shaft module for our program IngSoft EasyPipe we will replace the program EasySchacht98 in the medium term.
A program with many options
From horizontally lying pipe to vertically standing duct
We developed our EasySchacht98 software from the pipe statics and extended it in engineering terms. In doing this, we initially focused on landfill sites.
At the center of the structural engineering calculation is the duct pipe. The software verifies two dimensioning steps. These lie at the duct head and at the duct base. You can enter boundary conditions such as working space, openings, unions and installations in the corresponding input screens. They are included in the radial and axial analyses. IngSoft EasySchacht98 automatically performs the proof of interaction at the prominent places.

The input screen is thematically grouped by tabs and guides the user. This allows you to “easily” operate the program.
In the lower part of the application window, IngSoft EasySchacht98 displays a preview of the most important results. Color-coded fields immediately indicate the fulfilled and unfulfilled verifications to you.
Each shaft element offers a print preview. The scope of the print output is variable: As a user, you determine the degree of detail of the printout of your manhole statics.
Multilingual interface and support
We offer IngSoft EasySchacht98 in German and English.
We support our users during commissioning, operation and interpretation - five days a week. Additionally, we offer training courses (seminars).
Worksheet in progress
The industry lacks a set of standards for duct design. The work group AG ES-5.9: Structural engineering calculation of drainage systems - manholes by DWA (Deutsche Vereinigung für Wasserwirtschaft, Abwasser und Abfall e. V. - German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste) is currently drafting a worksheet.
As a member of the committee, we regularly attend meetings of this body and actively shape the rules and regulations.
